전치사의 의미와 예제를 통해서 쉽게 배웠으면 합니다.

100여개가 넘는 전치사가 영어에서 사용됩니다. 영어를 처음 배우는 사람들은 전치사를 정확하게 사용하는 것이 어렵습니다. 대부분의 전치사는 한 단어로 되어 있지만 어떤 것은 두 단어로 그리고 일부는 전치사구 형태로 사용됩니다.

Preposition 'A'

along	from one end to the other	They are walking along the street.

Preposition 'B to F'

behind	at the back of	Passengers sit behind the driver.
below	lower than	His shorts are below his knees.
beneath	under	The pen was beneath the books.
beside	next to	The bank is beside the cinema.
between	in the space separating two things	Mary sat between Tom and Jane.
by	- near, at the side of  - not later than	- The restaurant is by the river. - The boss wants the report by Friday.
close to	near	The school is close to the church.
down	from higher to lower	She pulled down the blind.

Preposition 'F to O'

Preposition 'O to T'

Preposition 'U to W'
